Ayurveda is the science of life and well being . Ayurveda is a 5000 year old system of natural healing that has its origin in Vedic culture of India. It is the oldest documented body of holistic medicinal knowledge. It is an ancient system of healing that was part of the spiritual tradition of the Sanatana Dharma during the Vedic period. It was Veda Vyasa, the famous sage, believed to be an avatar of Lord Vishnu who compiled the complete knowledge of Ayurveda into the Vedas.
Ayurveda is a holistic approach that helps people live long, healthy and well-balanced lives. It is a system of plant oils and herbs originating in India. Ayurveda was codified into text called Charaka Samhita by legendary physician Charaka in the 2nd century B.C. This is the timeless knowledge of complete health for individual and society contained in the Veda and Vedic literature.
